Robin blazed his own trail. He is a guitarist you can identify fairly easily. He was labeled as an English Jimi. Since Jimi was in England , I'm sure it influenced him and 100s of other players. I was fortunate enough to see him in Chicago in the 1990s. House of Blues. Never will forget it. Best to you RT. 😊.Hard to pick a favorite album, but "20th century blues" was a favorite of mine middle in his career.

Robin, now 79, has cancelled the rest of his 2024 US tour due to upcoming surgery. I had tickets for October in NJ, this would have been my first time seeing him, I can’t believe it. As I stated in previous post, acknowledge him as one of the best while he is still with us, which potentially may not be much longer. All the best RT

The blues "current" that rolled off the stage when Rory plays is that thing that people talk about but they can't describe it. It's kinda like a freight train but it's also like a bird. It's loud. it's huge. It's indescribable yet unmistakable.

I met a kid around 1985 in lake Worth FL who said Greg was his dad and he was a dead ringer. Played piano, sing really well, he said his dad would send money every once in a while. I believe him. Don't remember his name cause i only ran into him a few times. He didn't live in town for very long from what I heard.

Fabulous band and never tire of listening to the late 70's, 80's albums. Always loved Toy's musicality, jovial ways and carefree spirit best illustrated on 'Last of the singing cowboys' and 'Anyway the wind blows rider'. RIP Toy, your gift to the world still lives on by lightening the mood of people struggling with trials and tribulations of life.
